Free or low-cost pregnancy care. Income limit: Medicaid up to 196% FPL; CHIP up to 305% FPL; also offers CHIP 'unborn child' (FCEP) prenatal coverage, regardless of immigration status.
Coverage continues for 12 months after birth. You may be able to get care right away while your application is processed (presumptive eligibility).
Must the father help pay for the pregnancy? Partly. A paternity judgment may order the father to pay the reasonable expenses of the mother's pregnancy and confinement (birth). A paternity case can be filed before birth, but everything except service and depositions waits until after the birth.

These are listed in Heartbeat International's Option Line directory, but we couldn't confirm the phone number on the center's own website. Call before you go.
No statewide pregnancy-center network site could be verified (Missouri runs a state Alternatives to Abortion program, but its page could not be reached). Resource Health also has Northland and Lee's Summit locations; ThriVe has a St. Charles clinic. Birthright has many small-town Missouri chapters (e.g. Jefferson City, Moberly, Hillsboro, Wentzville).
