For dads
A father's responsibility in West Virginia
Must the father help pay for the pregnancy? Partly. When a man is found to be the father, the court must order child support under the guidelines plus payment of incurred pregnancy and childbirth medical expenses; the 36-month limit on back support does not apply to those medical expenses.
